The Dolce String Quartet began in 2019 as part of a program to benefit the El Progreso Memorial Library in Uvalde, Texas. Recognizing the need in Uvalde and the Frio Canyon for a string quartet that could provide music for weddings and other special events, and simply for the joy of playing music together, the Dolce String Quartet was conceived.
While our roots are classical, we enjoy playing string music in a variety of styles. We appreciate the importance of music in wedding ceremonies and we are committed to providing beautiful music that fits your tastes at the appropriate time throughout the ceremony. We are also available for other occasions such as dinners, receptions, holiday parties, anniversary celebrations, and corporate functions. Whatever the occasion, we can help make it special and memorable.
